Commissioned Work
In addition
to producing the framed lithographs available on eBay
and on this website, Anita also paints many commissioned
works for showcase houses, restaurants, corporations, hotels,
resorts and for collectors, examples of which are shown
here. Click the images below for more information:
The
Stickley Commission
Many
of you may recall seeing the unique collection of duplicate
original Anita Munman paintings at your Stickley furniture
dealer in the mid to late 90s. In 1994 Anita was commissioned
by the L & JG Stickley furniture company to design and
produce the paintings you see here in this Stickley produced
catalog. Together with the Stickley designed and produced
frames, these unique works of art were sold through Stickley
dealers coast-to-coast. Many of these images are available
today directly from the artist as canvas
lithographs. Often collectors of these early Stickley
works commission Anita to paint the same duplicate originals
to coordinate with earlier purchases. If you have an interest
in doing so, please email!

Harvest Grape Vine
This is the Artist's Proof #2 from a limited edition giclee produced from an original painting by Anita Munman, which was created for the Craftsman Farms Foundation 2001. It is printed on archival canvas, using archival inks and has a UV protective coating on the surface. The frame is solid quartersawn oak, medium stain, with a spray lacquer topcoat. There is an interior liner of brown leather over wood, with a raised oak fillet at the interior that compliments the medium oak frame. The image, Harvest Grape Vine, was inspired by a grape vine in the garden of the historic Craftsman Farms, the ca. 1900 home of Gustav Stickley. The image is very detailed and intricate, with leaf veins and tears evident, and winding tendrils juxtaposed against ripening grapes. The colors are rich autumn hues of ochre, olive green, tan, russet, purple and gold. The image size is 26"w X 20"h; the outside framed dimensions are 33"w X 30"h.
Other
Media

Anitas
commissioned work extends beyond painting to other media.
This Ginkgo tile, designed by Anita and produced
by Marie Glasse Tapp of the Tile Restoration Center in Seattle,
Washington, is an adaptation of her well-known Ginkgo
in Autumn image.

The Ginkgo in Autumn was also featured on a
t-shirt commissioned by the Frank
Lloyd Wright Home & Studio Foundation for a fundraising
house tour in 1997.
